Seasons of Change LLC altered its approach to educating seniors as it entered its 7th year of practice in 2019. Evolving from a 1:1 consulting practice Seasons has moved towards an educational model. As such, the holistic approach* towards identifying needs in the aging process has not changed but rather the ease and affordability in which you can access this information.
Seasons of Change was founded by Teresa Wheeler whose 20+ years in nursing primarily served the senior population. Concurrently she provided care giving to several family members. Teresa is passionately dedicated to Empowering seniors and their families by providing them with the education, resources and strategies necessary to navigate the health care system, address the changing needs in the senior’s life and enable them to move as fluidly as possible between the seasons of their life. She believes that every senior deserves to enjoy the highest quality of life possible.
* “Holistic approach is the best way to improve the health of Americans….Social services will ultimately be more effective at reducing health care costs than traditional approaches.” - JP Morgan Healthcare Conference 2016

Meet the Owner
Teresa Wheeler is a nurse licensed in the state of Ohio and an Advanced Professional member of the Aging Life Care Association. Teresa brings her 20+ years nursing background working with the senior population to her practice and approaches her clients holistically, respecting and addressing the many facets that must be considered when working with clients and their families.
As a nurse, Teresa has always been firm in her belief that an individual is not just a “set of diagnoses” but rather a unique human being with many aspects impacting them to be considered. As an Advanced Aging Life Care Manager, she often found that there were folks that she could not help as they could not afford the service, or perhaps could not get all of their siblings “on board” for a conversation to explore how she could serve them. Often too, she felt that in a session she may have disseminated so much information that her clients may have forgotten some crucial pieces of information.
In addition, Teresa holds a BA in Human Services from Baldwin-Wallace University, is a Certified Patient Advocate having completed her coursework at Cleveland State University, she holds a Care Manager Certification through the National Academy of Certified Care Managers, and is currently working on her MA in Gerontology through the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
